Don’t be put off by kitchen cupboards with glass doors
On the one hand, glass doors break up the monotony of closed kitchen cupboards; on the other hand, if carefully designed, they can make even a small kitchen appear larger. This is because they lend an airier feel to the overall design; what’s more, natural light reflects off their surfaces, making the room appear brighter. One potential drawback is that everything is visible behind the glass doors, so you should store only carefully selected items in them and keep them tidy at all times. If you bear in mind that your kitchen isn’t made up entirely of glass-door cupboards, it’s not such a daunting prospect after all, as with just one or two glass-door units, it’s perhaps not such a big task.
It does matter which worksheet you choose

High-gloss fronts

Reflective flooring
Dark colours absorb light, and this rule applies to the floor as well. An all-white floor can create a sterile feel in the kitchen – and it’s not particularly practical either – so instead, we recommend cream-coloured tiles or natural, light-coloured, or perhaps grey wooden flooring. Let’s not get carried away by Pinterest inspiration; let’s always keep our feet firmly on the ground! After all, there are some absolutely beautiful floors on which every little mark shows up in about two seconds, so we’ll never really be happy with them; instead, we’ll find ourselves having to clean them several times a day.
