Did we build a kitchen around a window?! – Introducing our new L-shaped kitchen units

Designing a modern kitchen is always an exciting challenge, especially when dealing with a room with unusual features. In this case, the position of the window affected not only the design but also the functionality. The end result, however, exceeded all expectations: our new L-shaped kitchen units are not only beautiful but also extremely practical!

Modern design made from premium materials

When designing the kitchen units, high-quality materials and an attractive appearance were given top priority. The fronts of the units Acrylic Avorio made from a material that fits perfectly with a modern, elegant style. The clean, creamy-coloured surfaces create a spacious and bright feel in the room, whilst being easy to clean and resistant to everyday wear and tear.

For the worksheet, the Egger Vicenza Oak We chose a material that brings a sense of warmth to the room with its natural wood-like appearance. The Egger Hunton Dark Oak/Vicenza Oak The splashback blends perfectly with the worktop, giving the whole kitchen a harmonious and modern look. This choice of material is not only timeless but also lends the room a distinctive visual appeal.

Maximising space – Bespoke solutions

A key consideration in the kitchen’s design was to ensure that every available square centimetre was put to good use. The owner specifically requested that the furniture fit perfectly into the around a window in an unusual position. At first, this task seemed like a challenge, but in the end we managed to come up with a solution that made no compromises.

The cupboards built around the window are not only eye-catching but also provide practical storage space. The upper cupboards offer plenty of space for pots, plates and glasses, whilst the lower cupboards and drawers provide additional storage space. The L-shaped layout It was the ideal choice: it enables us to work efficiently, whilst keeping the room spacious and uncluttered.

The kitchen’s practical features

Modern kitchens need to be not only attractive but also functional. Every detail in this kitchen has been carefully thought through:

  • Installing a sink: It’s now near the window, so we can work in natural light.
  • Optimising the workspace: The long worktop provides ample space for preparation and cooking tasks.
  • Maximising storage capacity: As well as the wall and base units, the corners of the kitchen units have also been put to good use with practical shelves.

The unique, curved shelving units on the left-hand side are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also provide the ideal space for small decorative items and spice racks.

Design and functionality go hand in hand

This project is a perfect example of how design and functionality can come together in a kitchen. The furniture is not only visually appealing but also makes everyday use easier. Thanks to the bespoke design, unusual features – such as the position of the window – have been addressed with a creative and aesthetically pleasing solution.

Owner satisfaction is our top priority, and we are proud to have created a kitchen that meets every need.
