A major advantage is that everything is within easy reach, and because we have to think carefully about what will and won\u2019t fit, we\u2019re less likely to buy items we don\u2019t actually need. We\u2019ve put together a few ideas that you might be able to incorporate into your own plans.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color: #009b77;\"><strong>Everything should have its place<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kitchen cupboards take up a great deal of space, so it\u2019s worth thinking carefully about how much storage space you\u2019ll need and what sort of storage units you\u2019ll require. It\u2019s important that everything has its place; in a small kitchen, specialised drawer and cupboard organisers play a key role. This is perhaps the most difficult part of the planning process, so set aside enough time for it, as it\u2019s very frustrating afterwards if you simply can\u2019t find a place for something.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5133\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilan-konyhabutor.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/kitchen-storage-solution.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"282\" height=\"423\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color: #009b77;\"><strong>Temporary workspace<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We won\u2019t always need a huge worktop, but when we\u2019re cooking a big meal, a little extra worktop or prep space can come in very handy. This is where fold-out, pull-out or \u2013 even more modern \u2013 \u201ecounters\u201d fitted with a push-open mechanism can be particularly useful.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5134\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilan-konyhabutor.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/installed-cutting-board-.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"282\" height=\"398\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5135\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilan-konyhabutor.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/kis_konyha_otletek_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"284\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color: #009b77;\"><strong>Movable kitchen island<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similar to the previous solution are movable, concealable kitchen islands, which offer a multifunctional, compact alternative to fixed kitchen islands. They can serve a variety of purposes: they can increase your kitchen\u2019s storage capacity, provide extra worktop space, and, if paired with a folding chair, even allow for a quick meal. These kitchen islands are fitted with wheels at the base and, as we can see in the picture, can even be tucked away inside the kitchen cupboard when not in use.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5136\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilan-konyhabutor.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Moveable-kitchen-island.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"282\" height=\"376\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color: #009b77;\"><strong>Make the most of the vertical space<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s double the number of top cupboards, or even have just one tall cupboard \u2013 the main thing is that everything fits. In the top cupboards and on the top shelves, we should only store things we won\u2019t need on a daily basis, as this can cause a great deal of frustration in everyday life. In small kitchens, we should also be careful not to cram every single square centimetre full, as the space will completely lose its airiness and end up feeling like a storeroom. We can avoid this by incorporating shelving units or kitchen cupboards with glass doors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5137\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilan-konyhabutor.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/tiny-kitchen-desig.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"563\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color: #009b77;\"><strong>Hanging elements<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the simplest ways to make use of unused wall space is to fit rails to the wall onto which you can hang anything using a hook. It is important to bear in mind that these items will always be on display, so choose attractive pieces that complement the interior; if you do this, they will also serve a decorative purpose.
