An L-shaped kitchen is essentially a corner layout in which the various elements are arranged along two adjacent walls. The advantage of this layout is that it makes maximum use of wall space; moreover, thanks to the space-saving design, it can give the room an airy feel. If you\u2019re dreaming of a kitchen island, it\u2019s highly likely that this layout will accommodate it perfectly.<\/p>\n

The essential kitchen triangle<\/span><\/h4>\n

We cannot emphasise enough that taking the kitchen triangle into account forms the basis of all kitchen furniture design! This means that there must be enough space between the oven, the sink and the fridge to allow for comfortable movement. The ideal layout is one where there is a minimum of 120 and a maximum of 270 centimetres between the units. This ensures smooth movement and adequate space within the room. In an L-shaped kitchen, this can be easily achieved thanks to the perpendicular layout.
